Chapter 7 ॥सप्तभोऽध्याम्॥

इतस्तत् ।
भ्रभतत स्वातं वातने न भभास्त्यसतहष्णतु ा ॥ ७-१॥
janaka uvāca
mayyanaṁtamahāṁbhodhau viśvapota itastataḥ
bhramati svāṁtavātena na mamāstyasahiṣṇutā
Janaka: In the infinite ocean of myself the world boat drifts here
and there, moved by its own inner wind. I am not put out by
that.
भय्यनतं भहाबं ोधौ जगद्वीतच् स्वबावत् ।
उदते ुवास्तभामात ुन भ े वतृ िन भच ऺतत् ॥ ७-२॥
mayyanaṁtamahāṁbhodhau jagadvīciḥ svabhāvataḥ
udetu vāstamāyātu na me vṛddhirna ca kṣatiḥ

Let the world wave of its own nature rise or disappear in the
infinite ocean of myself. I neither gain nor lose anything by that.
भय्यनतं भहाबं ोधौ तवश्व ं नाभ तवकिना ।
अततशांतो तनयाकाय एतदेवाहभातस्थत् ॥ ७-३॥
mayyanaṁtamahāṁbhodhau viśvaṁ nāma vikalpanā
atiśāṁto nirākāra etadevāhamāsthitaḥ
It is in the infinite ocean of myself that the mind-creation called
the world takes place. I am supremely peaceful and formless, and
I remain as such.
नात्मा बावषे ुनो बावस्तत्रानन्त े तनयंजन े।
इत्यसिोऽस्पृह् शान्त एतदेवाहभातस्तत् ॥ ७-४॥
nātmā bhāveṣu no bhāvastatrānante niraṁjane
ityasakto'spṛhaḥ śānta etadevāhamāstitaḥ
My true nature is not contained in objects, nor does any object
exist in it, for it is infinite and spotless. So it is unattached,
desireless and at peace, and I remain as such.
अहो तचन्मात्रभवे ाहं इन्द्यजारोऩभ ं जगत ।्
इतत भभ कथं कुत्र हेमोऩादेमकिना ॥ ७-५॥
aho cinmātramevāhaṁ indrajālopamaṁ jagat
iti mama kathaṁ kutra heyopādeyakalpanā
Truly I am but pure consciousness, and the world is like a
magician's show, so how could I imagine there is anything there
to take up or reject ?
